Editors and Creators of We Write Here

Lauren Srivastava was a teacher in Oakland (OUSD), Berkeley CA, and in Washington DC (DCPS). She has CA state teaching credentials for English Language Arts and Visual Arts and completed master's studies at MICA. Since setting up 'we write here', she enjoys reading the stories and is inspired by all these talented young minds. 

Ryan Martin has been teaching since 2008. He has taught youth in SF and in OUSD and attended CCA. He is a professional visual artist, writer, and leads creative teams. He is also amazed by the incredible words from the student writing.
